The Ethics Committee exists to help ensure that everyone serving the City of Lyndon—whether elected, appointed, or employed—acts in a way that reflects the public trust.
We’re here to support good decision-making, promote transparency, and provide clear paths for raising or resolving concerns when ethical questions arise. Our role is not to judge beliefs or political differences, but to help ensure that city business is conducted fairly, openly, and without personal gain.

We’ll review your request and respond in writing, offering guidance to help you stay in line with the city’s ethics code.
If you believe someone has violated the City of Lyndon’s ethics code, you can file a formal complaint.

Complaints must be specific, factual, have happened within the year, and in writing, sworn and notarized. The Ethics Committee handles all matters professionally, confidentially, and in accordance with the ordinance.
